This was a lucky shot. I was shooting the lighthouse and another photographer was there. He was a little farther out on the snow, and I turned around and stole this shot just as he was getting up. I didn't realize at the time how precarious his perch would look in 2D. In reality he is about 5 feet higher than the ice flow, but probably beyond the cement base of the lighthouse.
